Offensive Standout

As heavy favorites, Georgetown will play host to Baldwin Wallace. " Mel Brown was our spark last time out, and we need that same kind of game from him" Coach Trigger said.

Georgetown could be looking at one of their easiest wins of the season on Saturday. The Hoyas and the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets will face off in an AGC battle at 12:00 p.m. at Canvas Stadium. This will be the Hoyas' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Last Saturday, Georgetown got the win against Appalachian State by a conclusive 44-24.

Mel Brown had a dynamite game, rushing for 240 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also picking up 32 receiving yards. Brown's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.

Meanwhile, this looked like a coin-flip coming in, but Northwestern State turned it into a rout. Baldwin Wallace wound up on the wrong side of a painful 37-17 walloping at the hands of the Demons last Saturday. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat aside, Goose Crowder had a steady outing, rushing for 20 yards and 1 TD, while also throwing for 184 yards and 1 touchdown (1 INT).

Georgetown now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Baldwin Wallace, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Expect plenty of work on the ground in this one — Georgetown's running back corps is a solid 80.5 overall, while Baldwin Wallace's linebackers sit near the bottom at just 73.0.
